The Terrain Vague project   It explores the form of absence in the contemporary metropolis. This interest focuses on the abandoned areas surrounding obsolete and unproductive spaces and buildings, often undefined and without clear boundaries. These are places to which the French term terrain vague applies. Against the widespread tendency to "reintegrate" these places into the city's productive logic, transforming them into reconstructed spaces, this work reclaims the value of their state of ruin and unproductivity. Only in this way can these urban vacant lots manifest themselves as alternative spheres of freedom to the prevailing profit-driven reality of the capitalist city. Ultimately, it is an exploration of abandonment and anonymous reality.
