Exodus is the second book of the Bible. It is a traditional text that recounts the enslavement of the Hebrews in ancient Egypt and their liberation through Moses, who led them to the Promised Land. In Judaism, the Book of Exodus is part of the canon, contained in the Torah and forming one of the five books of the Pentateuch, which comprise the first part of the Hebrew Bible. In Christianity, the Book of Exodus is also part of the canon and is found in the Old Testament.
